1. Root word SERV= to serve, to help

6. service (n.) Work done for others, helpful acts.
7. serviceable (adj.) Useful, helpful, able to be used for a long time. (Such as serviceable snow tires.)
8. variable (adj.) likely to change or be different.
9. variation (n.) The result of varying, a change from the normal.
10. variety (n.) a collection of different things, an assortment.
11. various (adj.) of several different types, not alike.
